I’m originally from a teeny tiny town in Minnesota, but moved to Minneapolis to go to the University of Minnesota, where I got my BA in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences.

After graduating from the University of MN, I worked for a couple years in Minneapolis (first at a medical device company, then at a supply chain software company), but later moved to Baltimore to begin my MA in TESOL, where I also taught pre-beginning and intermediate ESOL to adults at Howard Community College.

After one year in Baltimore, I decided to transfer to the University of Alabama, where I stayed for two years working on my MA in Applied Linguistics & TESOL (Roll Tide!). At UA, I also worked as a teaching assistant, research assistant, and writing center tutor.

Now, I am in Atlanta working as a technical writer after a brief stint doing NLP and applied linguistics research at Georgia State University. Yay!

In my free time, I love cooking! A lot. I cook all the time.

I also love traveling and going on adventures! My favorite place in the US is Washington DC. I could visit there alllll the time and never get bored. Although New York City is a close second! Chiang Mai, Thailand or Tokyo are probably my favorite international locations, but there are so many places I still have to visit!

Being friendly, smiling, and trying to be funny are all my favorite. I also talk a lot. If you contact me, just be prepared.
